Chapter 1:
General characteristics of the year. The external conditions.

Solar Return Ascendant Pisces:

     Your imagination and creativity will be intensified this year, and your outlook on life will be less realistic than usual. You will be more sensitive and inclined to have your feelings hurt over things that would normally not bother you. During this period you could be more intuitive and perceptive. You may have unusual, visually powerful dreams, or precognitive dreams.  You may become strongly attracted to the psychic world or to the paranormal. You may be drawn to study these subjects and to discover more about your inner self.

     There is a strong tendency to get caught up in your own world of ideas but have difficulty expressing them to others. You will be so involved in your dreams and visions that you will have a hard time operating in the outer world and taking necessary action. You will find yourself less practical and logical than usual this year. However, your impressions of people and situations will be unusually accurate and perceptive. Listen to your inner voice. Trust it to guide you, in spite of your apparent lack of common sense. You can count on that "angel on your shoulder" to get you through this year.

     Because you are more inclined to want to be helpful and have concern for the problems of others, you will tend to neglect your own needs. You could neglect your projects and responsibilities for the welfare of others, which you may regret later on. Remember that you aren't seeing as realistically or clearly as you usually do at this time. Don't let that upset you. On the other hand, while you are protecting and caring for the defenseless and needy, you could very easily become a victim yourself. You might find yourself looking for pity or inordinate approval from others for the work you are doing, which would not be in your best interest. If by nature you are a more rational, practical person, you may enjoy these new attitudes and abilities for this time. You may make some wonderful discoveries about yourself or reality which you can draw on a later time. However, if you are inclined to be more dreamy and sensitive naturally, this influence could cause you to become too impractical or vulnerable. In either case, it is recommended that you use special caution in making commitments, signing contracts, making investments or loans, or taking any action which binds you or obligates you in a romantic situation. Don't mix your emotions with your work or your money.

     This year you might have to deal with karma that you have not taken care of before. This may be the time to work with it so that you can let it go. This is not the best time to make great financial or professional advances.

     Physically, your most sensitive spot will be your feet. You might be subject to sprains, pains, or infections. Use good walking shoes and walk barefoot every chance you get. This year also could bring some ailments that are difficult to diagnose. That is because their cause is psychosomatic. You may have unusual or strong reactions to medications so don't hesitate to consult your physician if you sense that a treatment is not working properly for you. The desire to escape from reality may lead you to drugs or alcohol.  If you already have an addiction problem, you will need to work with it very seriously this year. It is very important to control the use of any addictive substances during this time.

     Since you will be having more than usual difficulty dealing with the real world, it would be advantageous for you to be in contact with people who are more practical and organized.  You can hope that a Virgo walks into your life at this time for you could benefit from his or her clear-headed thinking. If you are in a committed relationship, your partner could be your connection to the real world. If you are not involved with anyone at this time, you should remind yourself that you might not be seeing that new person with true clarity.  You will be inclined to idealize anyone you meet.  It would be wise to postpone any new commitments until the year is ended.

Solar Return MC Sagittarius:

     During this year you want to reach for the stars! Your optimism and your faith will be the principal ingredients for your advancement and the realization of your goals. This influence brings you a dose of general luck with your projects. You have a cosmic protection that will be with you all year. You will more convincing and persuasive than you have ever been. This could be beneficial to you in politics, business or any other related field.

     If your usual work is related to travel, tourism, diplomacy, international business, teaching, photography or the theater, it will be a successful year. You might also find yourself renewing an interest in one of these areas that you have had in the past. You might even be involved in more than one occupation during this year. Don't allow yourself to get too busy or involved, thereby spreading yourself too thin.  It's important to concentrate on your major goals for the year. Otherwise, you will not use your energy wisely.

     You could travel and visit other countries during this period, if other indications in this report confirm it. If not, you could use this time to expand your mental or spiritual horizons. You may not have to travel to have new experiences as you could attract into your present physical arena new people who share new ideas and stories of other lands with you.  Or you might decide to study a foreign language.

     You won't spend much time at home during this period, and could find a "second" home some place where you feel comfortable. You will be very restless and will have a desire to interact with others. This could take place outside of your home, or you may receive a lot of visitors in your home. There might also be more contact and relating to brothers and sisters and other close relatives. Communication is the major key to resolving any disputes that could arise. If you were thinking of moving, you may think about it even more now, and finally make up your mind to do it.

Chapter 2: Astrological influence of your personality.

Sun in 6th house:

     You will work a lot during this year and will concentrate your energy on searching for more efficient and successful ways to do your work, especially if you are working for an employer. You will want to stand out from the rest of your associates for your good work and for the authority which you command, which could arouse jealousy and envy. If you work independently, this year should bring favorable   working relationships with employees or service providers and vendors. In any case, work will be an important part of your life this year.

     You may be more inclined to concentrate on service of some kind where you can use your abilities to help others.

     It would be best to pay special attention to your health this year as there could be some problems. If you already have poor health, you should take extra care during this year. It is recommended that you watch your nutrition, adopting a diet that gives you the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that your body needs. If you consider yourself a normally healthy person, don't take it for granted and be careful not to work yourself to exhaustion. It is important to watch your energy level and not overwork. Any health problem that manifests could be due to overdoing physically but it could also be due to emotional causes. If the Sun's aspects to other planets, which are described below, are especially negative, you should be especially careful to take care of yourself and not to overdo.

     You might find that bringing a new pet into your home would give you much joy and relaxation.

Sun conjunction Venus:

     You will be very sensitive and sociable during this period. Your circle of friends will increase, and you will be much more concerned with enjoying pleasant activities in your daily life. You also will be more concerned with making personal improvements, especially in your looks. You may find yourself getting more interested than normal in acquiring luxuries and bringing comfort into your life, so be careful about overspending. It also increases your personal magnetism, causing others to take special interest in you. You will have opportunities for romantic relationships. One person (or several!) may court you intensely. You will receive innumerable invitations, and the choice of accepting will be yours. This will not be a year of solitude. If you already have someone in your life, your relationship will be harmonious and you will share many pleasant moments. This will be a pleasant year and you will have a good time in spite of any problems that you may have. You will be more agreeable, happy, and creative. If you have artistic inclinations, you will produce a lot during this year. Your need to express yourself will be very strong. This influence will manifest with intensity in the area influenced by the Sun during this year (outlined in the previous paragraph).

Sun square Saturn:

     During this year you could experience obstacles that will be difficult to overcome. The duties and responsibilities of your daily life will seem to choke you. On the other hand, you won't be so willing to gratify your every wish. You will be inclined to take things too seriously and to limit yourself unduly. Try to keep your good humor in spite of the problems you may have and maintain a positive and optimistic attitude.

     You will find that other people will interfere in your life and those in authority over you will be difficult. The relationship with your father, or with some paternal figure in your life, could be very disturbing during this time. You could feel isolated and alone, generating inner feelings of bitterness and frustration. The opposition of others won't be easy to deal with and will require much patience and perseverance on your part.

     During this period your physical energy will diminish and you will discover your own weaknesses and faults. It is important to become aware of them and work on overcoming them. Don't expect immediate results from your efforts because under this influence success in any enterprise is delayed, sometimes for a long period of time. Feelings of frustration could discourage you and lead you to abandon your objectives. Your consistency and perseverance is being tested.

Sun trine Uranus:

     Your creativity will increase considerably and it will be reflected positively in your activities. During this year you will be attracted to new and out of the ordinary activities. You will be interested in studying such disciplines as science, technology, or astrology. Your intuition will increase and will be your best guide when called on to make decisions. If you are attracted to the occult sciences, you will spend more time studying these subjects in depth during this year and also could develop your powers of perception.

     You won't feel very comfortable following any kind of routine and will want to introduce changes in your life. These changes will be very favorable and will make you feel freer. It will be a year loaded with positive surprises that will benefit you. Always keep in mind that because of your eagerness to learn, it is wise to alternate your mental activities with a certain amount of physical activity.

     This astrological aspect points to and encourages travel for this year. You might even decide to get up and go on the spur of the moment without making any plans. Social contacts and communication also will increase, and you will benefit from associating more with friends or social groups that you are already involved with.

Sun trine MC:

     You will have a year of great progress and professional success. Your trust, enthusiasm, and the ability to channel your energies correctly will bring transformation and general improvement. There could be an increase in your income, and you also could resume a prior interest in some promising business opportunity. Your future goals will be very clear to you, and you will work efficiently to attain them. You will feel the satisfaction and pride of having done things well.

     You won't find it necessary to rely on anybody. You could become centered, sure of yourself, and enthusiastic, thereby capturing the attention of others and making you their leader. You will know how to earn the respect of others. During all this time you will be a very responsible worker and at the same time will maintain a healthy social life without neglecting your own purposes.

     Your creative capacity will increase as well as your ability to coordinate your efforts with that of others. Regardless of how much opposition you may receive, the final success will be yours. You will know how to choose people around you who are able to give you support. In your personal arena, your relationship with your father, or with someone who represents a father figure for you, will be a point of important support for the achievement of your goals.

Chapter 3: The emotional world.

     You will be self-contained and more reserved during this time. You will be very sensitive and receptive to any criticism or comments of others, especially those coming from women. It is important for you to keep your self-esteem high and to remain on solid ground during this time so that you don't become too critical of yourself. You will tend to be more analytical, paying more attention to details than you usually do.

     You may tend to be more helpful and cooperative at this time, especially with people who appeal to you. In your professional life, you could possibly become dissatisfied with your job and think about finding another one. It would be wise to think seriously before you make any changes, because you will be acting from your emotions and may not make the wisest and most advantageous decision.

    You may notice that your memory is better and that you can concentrate better.  You will have more interest in taking up some new study, especially in such subjects as nutrition or diet.

     You may be more quiet and reserved than is normal for you this year.  Or you may find yourself being victimized in some way. This could lead to your getting some sort of psychosomatic disorder. Maintain a mentally positive attitude, express your emotions freely, and use this time to study, with your goal being to know yourself better and to improve yourself.

Solar Return Moon in 6th house:

     Your emotional ups and downs will affect your physical health, generating psychosomatic problems. You should be careful not to let your emotions be expressed in a negative way. Otherwise, you could be subject to certain disorders, particularly in the digestive system. During this year, you will concentrate on improving your diet, your body, and your health in general. For very mild problems such as headaches or indigestion, it would be best not to take medicine, if at all possible, because, in most cases, the cause will be emotional. However, if the problem appears to be of a more serious nature, you should seek some sort of medical assistance.

     You may become restless and start thinking of making a change in the work you do. You will be looking for a more pleasant work environment, one which is less stressful. If you are presently working in a noisy or negative environment, you will seek something more positive and congenial. Or you might even think about changing the kind of work you do.

Moon conjunction Mercury:

     Your thinking will be strongly influenced by your emotions, which will be both positive and negative. You will talk a lot about your feelings, and your communication will be fluent. You will be more imaginative, and if you are in a creative or literary field, this influence will be very beneficial. Business relationships in general will be favored.

     At times you could become depressed over small issues, and you could find yourself involved in more trivial or superficial conversations, paying less attention to more important matters. You might also tend to spend a lot of energy talking about new projects but not going into explicit details. You may have frequent and unexpected mood changes so take care not to make impulsive, final decisions.

     Communication with your mother and with women in general will be very positive.

Moon conjunction Jupiter:

     This will be a period of positive feelings and generosity toward others. You will be more fearless and expect everything to go well for you. You won't be as prone to anger or impatience when dealing with problems or involved in discussions with others. You will search for harmony and will bring it with you wherever you go. This astrological aspect promises a happy year, both emotionally and socially. You will receive support from others, especially from women.

     Besides that, you will have a greater interest in the profound aspects of life and will want to expand your knowledge of the metaphysical or spiritual world. You will be more prone to follow the dictates of your heart rather than your mind.

     Your personal life should be very pleasant. You will give to and receive a lot from others. If you are in a committed relationship, you will be feeling more obliging, helpful, and willing in your daily interaction.  This will cause your partner to respond to you in like fashion. As a matter of fact, you will find harmony and peace in all areas of your home life. Even if other astrological influences this year indicate problems and dissatisfaction, you will find ways to have a happy year.

Moon opposition Neptune:

     You could be more vulnerable to deception and deceit. You will be more emotional and sensitive than usual which will increase your susceptibility to the actions and emotions of others. You will not be able to see people as realistically as before which could result in your being hurt or disillusioned by those you trusted. It's important to be aware of this and be more cautious than usual when dealing with others, especially those who you don't know well. You will be particularly vulnerable with women.  It would also be a good idea to postpone making final decisions or plans, if at all possible, until this period is over. You could also be more easily victimized now.

     There could be a state of confusion or mystery in your home. You could be the subject of gossip or malicious comments. Even those close to you could be the ones who betray or deceive you. Since you could be more gullible during this time, you should try to associate only with people you are confident you can trust. You will be working at a deeper, subconscious level and may find yourself recalling memories and traumas from your childhood which will add to the confusion you are already experiencing.

     You should probably avoid activities such as consulting psychics or mediums for you could be unduly affected by them.

     You will be more sensitive to toxins from alcohol or food. If you already are using cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs, you may want to increase your consumption and it will be very difficult to control it.

     The best way to counteract this influence would be to give free expression to your creativity through some artistic or literary activity, and also to be extra cautious and perceptive in your personal relationships.

Moon trine Pluto:

     Your emotions will be very intense but, at the same time, very stimulating and rich. You will see everything and everyone around you to be more profound and powerful than usual, which will lead you to search for relationships that are not superficial, but allow you to express your more intimate emotions. During this time childhood memories or traumas will emerge from your consciousness that will let you see, with much more clarity, the motive for your current reactions. You will discover your true self which will give you more trust, clarity, and the capability to confront your life in general.

     It is important that you don't repress your emotions this year, but express them freely. It also will be important that you control obsessive and stubborn behavior. Romance and your sex-life could become very enriched.  If you are in a committed relationship, you should be feeling confident and on solid ground with your partner, but be careful not to become too bossy or manipulative.

     You could experience some changes in your home or family life that will be very beneficial. The relationship with your mother, or other women in your life, will be very profound, intense, and more spiritual.

     This will be a year of renewal and emotional freeing up. Encounters with your past and your own history will allow you to get to know yourself better, and if you don't resist these new feelings, you will have a very positive year.

     HOUSE 1:  Personality.  Principal interest of the year.

     You will feel confident and on solid ground in making your decisions. You will use your free will, and you will be very much aware of opportunities that come along. It will be a year of adjustment to your true and basic interests. You will be interested in developing your whole personality, including your physical body and the characteristics of your temperament. This influence reaffirms the power of your ego and increases your self-respect and vanity. The degree of your success will depend entirely on your own effort and initiative.

Uranus in 1st house of Solar Return:

     You will need more freedom and independence during this year. You may be acting differently and strangely, which will surprise and confuse the people who know you. You will be tenser and keyed up and will resent too much routine or obligation or any limitation to your freedom. Don't expect to receive too much understanding from others because they will not know how to respond to the new you.

     You should be more careful than usual because this influence will make you more unpredictable and risk taking, thereby becoming more prone to accidents or speaking out too bluntly. You won't be as interested in or willing to listen to the opinions of others. You will feel the need to make changes in your life, becoming more open and willing to reach out more. You will be attracted to everything new, strange, or unknown, and to risky situations.

     This year's possibilities will force you to earn money through your own efforts. You should rely on your ideas and hunches about where and how to invest money. This will be a period of financial success, unless there are other astrological aspects to the contrary.

     Your inner desire to correspond, write and express your ideas will be accentuated. If you have literary aspirations, this could be the year you succeed in producing an important manuscript and in getting it published. It also will be a good year for intellectual production in general, favoring studies of any kind.

     You also may take a number of short trips during this time. Your relationship with the immediate environment will be favorable.

Solar Return 3rd cusp Conjunct natal Mars:

     You won't have much patience this year, particularly in regard to communication or correspondence. Your mind will be working much faster now and you could get quite irritated with people or situations that get in your way or slow you down.

     However, you could become interested in taking some short trips that provide you with a touch of adventure.

     HOUSE 4:  The home.

     You will show great concern for your home and your family. You will look for ways to achieve the stability you always yearned for and will make the necessary investments. Your life will become more quiet and inactive during this period, as you seek to put down roots in your current place of residence. Contact with your family will be more intense and you could have an increased desire to learn more about your own family history.

     Problems in your home will affect you emotionally. You will be very tuned into the activity in your home environment. You will get along especially well with your mother or other women who you are close to. You might also think about making some changes in your home.

     HOUSE 5:  Romance & amusement. Relationship with children.

Solar Return 5th house cusp in or within 3 degrees of natal 5th house:

     This year will bring opportunities for romance. If you are not involved in a committed relationship, you could very well meet someone this year. If you are already in a relationship, you will enjoy and appreciate each other's affections. It is important that you express your feelings during this time and that you receive the level of happiness you are looking for. It also will be a good year for amusements such as games and sports. Unless there are contrary indications elsewhere in this report, your relationship with children will be especially positive.

Mars in 5th house of Solar Return:

     You will show a lack of discipline in getting things done which will result in your having difficulty carrying out tasks that require patience and perseverance. Since your energy level will be quite high, it would be good to be involved in some kind of physical activity or competition. If you practice some sport, you will get great pleasure and satisfaction from it. If you don't have a favorite activity, it would be advisable to find one that interests you in order to burn up your extra energy. You will have a strong desire to take chances, not only in risky business ventures, but also in games of chance.

     In your love life, you could become very demanding and domineering and will be attracted to conquest and winning. Unless you are careful, there could be romantic adventures, passion, and scandal. Sex will be one of your means of expression during this year.

     Your relationship with males could be particularly tense and difficult. If you have a son, you should be patient and act with softness to avoid becoming too authoritarian.

Solar Return Mars Conjunct natal Venus:

     You will have greater ability to handle the aggressive behavior and the tension created by others in a calm and understanding way. Nervous people will be attracted to you due to your ability to make them feel calmer and more relaxed. On the other hand, it is also possible that your passivity and refusal to get upset could irritate other people.

     This astrological influence could bring you a very passionate, new romance during this year.

Solar Return Mars Conjunct natal Jupiter:

     You will be very kind and pleasant even in the presence of aggressive or nervous people. You will be understanding and won't let their anxiety get to you.

     HOUSE 6:  Health and illness. Employment. Service.

Solar Return 6th house cusp in or within 3 degrees of natal 6th house:

     You could have complications with ongoing health problems. Be careful of your diet and any negative habits which could affect your health in general.

     It would be a good year to get involved in service-related occupations or in the medical field, if that is appropriate.

Solar Return 6th cusp Conjunct natal Venus:

     This influence could bring about health problems. There is a possibility of gaining weight very easily and quickly and a tendency toward seeking for pleasure and, at the same time, making little physical effort. Circulatory problems also could be indicated. You could benefit a lot by maintaining regular physical activity during this year.

     On the other hand, you will enjoy your work and will show your creative artistic side there. There is also the possibility of falling in love with someone at your work place.

Mercury in 6th house of Solar Return:

     You will be concerned about your employment and will give much attention to the details of your work. You could become a perfectionist in your performance. However, you could also be more willing to help others, which would make you a valuable employee. You will also do well in all types of work requiring mental effort and concentration. Your intelligence and capacity to analyze will be your main asset. Your ideas and opinions will be very sharp and quick during this year.

     In reference to your health, the excess mental activity could bring on headaches and stress. You should be careful not to get too uptight and stressed and be sure to get the necessary rest. Your mind will be going faster than your physical body can handle which could make you very nervous and tense.

     You will feel like paying more attention to your health and the hygiene of your body during this period. You will look for information about diet and nutrition that will help you protect your health.

Solar Return Mercury Conjunct natal Mercury:

     Your intellectual capacity will increase during this year. You probably will associate with people who have the same interests and will stimulate you to continue studying or to participate in intellectual groups. It will be easy for you to learn and also to relate your knowledge during this period. It will be important not to spend all the time talking about your projects without giving anyone else the opportunity to share.

Venus in 6th house of Solar Return:

     Unless there are other planetary aspects that indicate otherwise, you will enjoy good health during this year, but you should watch your diet because there is a tendency to eat and enjoy rich, fattening food, which could lead to the gaining of weight. You could especially have a craving for sugar and candy. In addition, you may not be particularly inclined toward very much physical activity this year.

     You will get along well with bosses and those you work with. You will enjoy your work and will receive approval and appreciation. If you are an employer yourself, your relationship with your employees will also be very pleasant.

     However, you could have some disagreements or difficulties with personal relationships due to some misunderstanding between the partners. It will be necessary for you to take appropriate action to prevent this from happening.

Solar Return Venus Conjunct natal Sun:

     You will have a strong magnetism and charm during this year and there is the possibility of a romantic meeting with someone. The positive response and demonstrations of affection that you will receive will make you feel very good about yourself. You will be an active participant in any meetings you attend and if you have a position of leadership, you will be accepted and respected by everyone.

Jupiter in 6th house of Solar Return:

     Your work situation will improve and will be more satisfying to you. Your relationships with co-workers and bosses will be more harmonious and happy. You will enjoy your work and could receive improved working conditions, a promotion, or a raise in pay.

     Your health will be good and you will recover from any ailment that you have been suffering from. However, there is a strong tendency toward excesses which could alter your balance. Watch your diet, especially the quantity of food that you eat. Avoid fatty or fried food, and other food that could have a bad effect on the liver. You should also avoid candy and sugar because you could gain weight easily this year.

     HOUSE 7:  Associations.  Marriage and partnerships.

     Your relationships with a spouse, partner, or business associate will be especially important this year. Depending on the quality of your relationship at this time, a positive union could continue to be positive and rewarding.  On the other hand, any relationship which is not a solid one could weaken even more.
